Photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand's awe-inspiring Earth from the Air images have arrived in Norwich - with 120 large-scale photographs displaying astonishing natural landscapes located throughout the heart of the city. This has created a spectacular free, 24-hour, outdoor exhibition.Created by world famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, every stunning aerial photograph tells a story about our changing planet. Seen together, they are an outstanding visual testimony to the world we live in today, a world with a growing population, shrinking biodiversity, polluted lands and oceans, a changing climate and a shortage of water, but a world nevertheless, of beauty and wonder. .

You are my India!
Retail history: Big Bazaar made Rs 125 crore in total in a three-day sale across its outlets. (Above) A file picture of police trying to control the crowds at a Big Bazaar sale in Hyderabad last year. In the Sixties, an extremely humorous Tamil film titled Kathalikka Neramillai rocked Madras. The film, made by a famous director with the admirable name of Sridhar, had an interesting dialogue which went something like this: Nagesh in the movie is a guy who is mad about making films. His two sisters come for a break and he asks them what Tamil film they had seen recently. "We don't see Tamil pictures, we see only English pictures," they chorus proudly. To which Nagesh with his usual aplomb says, "Let my picture come, then all Englishmen will say that we don't see English pictures, we see only Tamil pictures." To which his sisters say, "Then we will stop seeing films." More than the humour in the dialogue or the situation, to me it represents a state of mind that was certainly present then and is perhaps present even today.

Taking Stock is Business reporter Sue Stock's online discussion of local retail events, deals, coupons and more. Sure enough, when I went through the drive-through and ordered a cup with cream, the cream had already been added when I received my coffee a few minutes later. For the record, my coffee was fine. But I'm not sure I like this policy. I understand it might be convenient for people headed through the drive-through, but I'm not sure I want someone else's hands adding anything to my coffee.
Fifty-fourth annual ice fishing contest
Recently there was a television feature about the 10 places in the country that everyone should see. Yellowstone Park was near the top with one of its most famous sights Old Faithful, the world's greatest geyser. We had our own geyser back in 1953. Every year, the Dunn County Fish & Game Club finds ways to improve by holding an ice fishing contest on the second Saturday in February on Lake Menomin. At that first contest, members were reminded that putting too much weight on the surface of a frozen lake will cause an eruption. The circular fishing area surrounded with Christmas trees, hundreds of vehicles and the bodies of hundreds of anglers combined to put enough pressure on the ice to cause an "Old Faithful," a very cold column of water that did everything but steam like the famous geyser's boiling waters.
